Hi Just got this TV for the bedroom, cheap and not a bad picture to be honest.

I've had a mess around and theres just something i'm not sure about with the picture, I wondered if anyone else has got any recommended settings for it?

    Thanks

That one is HD-Ready, meaning 720p so lower resolution than 1080p. Is that what is bothering you? We need more info to help you...

Hi, no i was meaning the collaboration settings, so the best setting for colour and viewing, what are the best settings to have on and off, contrast etc

I just thought there maybe some for this TV as well, i have another tv, Samsung ks8000 and on that forum there are recommended settings for it for best picture setup.

The low-end ones never have that, you just go by your eyes. For color calibration you need pro tools like CalMan and a camera/sensor.

You can use the cinema mode that should be factory calibrated for colors, but is darker for dark room viewing so up the brightness/backlight.

All other settings have a short explanation what they do. Usually it is recommended to turn off eco settings (eye strain settings etc.) and some people don't like noise reduction/mpeg filters, but that depends on the quality of material watched...

And don't expect that model to have picture quality like the big boys :)

You can go to RTINGS.com and read through settings for UK6300 for example since they explain what they do.
