Has anyone had the chance to view or use one of these new dvd players.
I am interested in the ntsc progressive and the component out.

At the moment I have either this player in mind or the H K 25.

I dont need the pal progressive, so would it be spending over £150 extra for nothing.

    mre15,
Had for a week so I could use my new Panny plasma bought last week. Paid £140 multi region.
Only used it a couple of times, played previously recorded Ram discs onit ( u have to take them out of the caddy if there in one).
Cant really give much feedback yet only to say it looks good on the stand and matches the screen, but doesn"t read discs as quick as my Pioneer 444.
Haven"t made my mind up yet on an improved pq in progressive scan mode.

I've had one for a couple of weeks now and I agree with the slower reading disks comment (my previous player was also a Pioneer 444) but it has played anything I've put in it and the quality of the player for the price is excellent!

I can't comment on NTSC progessive scan as my new tv will not be here until Saturday but the picture quality is very impressive.. plus it looks good as well!
