Just looking for a little advice. Been thinking of swapping my ps4 for a Xbox one so just wanted to know is there really much difference in the two.

Atari Lynx.......... Move along people.I have both. Both are crap. I suggest a Sega game gear.
I also have both and there's not much between them but the big thing that makes me favour the Xbox one is the ease by which you are able to game share and make massive savings in digital games as no Xbox One games are region locked.
I go through phases playing them both but the XBox has been my go to console for the past few months. I prefer the controller and the XBox Live service is IMO more robust than the PSN.
I have both. There's not much between them, all things considered. X1 hardware is a bit weaker than PS4, but in real world terms, it doesn't amount to a huge difference IMO. Best to look at what exclusives appeal to you most, and where more of your friends are, if you play online. EA Access and GWG give you good alternatives to PS+.
@King Tones has both as well, he'll probably have lots of good advice. In case he doesn't, I'll ask the obligatory question: Have you considered going for a gaming PC instead? More games and variety than consoles, cheaper, better-looking games, etc. Higher initially outlay but the same price or cheaper over the console lifespans.
Thanks for all the replay maybe I should just buy a Xbox also then. Went to Argos today and they had froza on demo instore had a quick go and was impressed with the graphics and pad.
Now that sounds like a great idea. All the games !!!
Just got to grow some balls and ask the misses for it
Setting up gamesharing is just as simply on PS4, works exactly the same.
I tend to use my PS4 more, the controller actually works (my Xbox One pad has the disconnect thing) and I much prefer the simple interface. I want the multi plats on the machine with the best performance.
Xbox is used for any multiplayer stuff, I've never bothered to game online with PS4 at all.
I knew that it was very simple to set up game sharing on the PS4 but
I was sure that PS4 games were region locked and that you had to for example create a US gamer tag in order to purchase a US game. I know this may be a simple process but it involves a bit of faffing around changing profiles. Whereas I can buy from any foreign Microsoft Store with ease. Agree with you about the interface though and hopefully the NXOE will change that next week.
