Was just wondering what the wii looks like on this TV through component? I'm planning on getting a new set soon and the Wii picture quality is a BIG issue (as it's obviously the best console)

The other sets I'm considering are: Samsung LE32N73B and LE37R87BD

Any help would be appreciated immensly

I've got a Samsung, and it does look better than my mate's CRTs, however after playing PS3 and 360 I can't ever say it looks great. Just better than it did with composite.

Ive got the Sony 26" version using component and its fantastic imo. I concidered buying the Samsing or Sony and after watch some freeview, trying out the picture controls imo the Sony was better. Thats not to say the samsung bad. I'm sure both would be great.

I have a Sony 26S2010 and the Wii looks OK. It is better through component than composite but as the output is SD resolution it's not as impressive as my 360 or PS3 running in HD.

Here's the only pic I have online showing the wii on my TV, it's from a while back though.

Thanks a lot for the nice pick, I'm still unsure whether to get the sony or samsung, I hear there is a problem with a "halo" effect on sonys, have u found this Stu.artd? I know the Wii is visually not comparable to the xbox or ps3, but I basically just want a nice sharp image.

Maybe I can bring my Wii into the stores and ask to try it on the TVs

Sorry for taking so long to reply Calcium Kid. I've had my S2010 for a year now and haven't noticed any halo effects on it.
