Anyone ever taken apart the MCE remote receiver?

    Going to look into this to fit it in a case, but was curious to know if anyones ever tried this and what problems they ran into.........

    There's a thread here about fitting one into a mediaPC.tv case.
    Skunkpipe i think is the person to speak to who did this. I'll have a look to pop the thread back up, but I'm sure Skunkpipe will be along soon as he appears to be here a lot

    Well I never took it apart but Ive got it fitted into a 3.5" bay (floppy drive bay)

    a very small torx driver is needed to take it apart - it you don't have a suitable one then you can unclip the front IR window and cut throught the screw posts with some wire cutters/similar. instruction on how to conect to the m/board header are in the other thread
