Doe sanyone know of any other companies that offer deals on SKY if I take installation through them,, on the net it all seems to come back to Sky, surely they must sub-contract their work, and them Subcontractors may offer freebies in lettinf them do the install???

Only SKY authorised agents can make offers which include "free" hardware and installation, cut price subscription offers etc etc. So in that case you are always going to be pointed back to SKY. A SKY authorised agent who is also a dealer/trader will be in a postion of offer prices that SKY offer (not the online exclusive deals) and do the installation work themselves although anything beyond a standard install will probably cost extra.

You have to remember that SKY pay agents/dealers to sign up new subscribers and provide tha hardware and cover installation costs. If SKY are not involved in supplying the hardware and paying the installation costs then who is going to pay the installer?

If you are willing to buy unsubsidised hardware and pay full installation costs all authorised and unauthorised dealers/installers will gladly take your money:)
