Anyone else see it?

17:25 this evening; 2 miles north of Burnham, Bucks; looking due north.

The most spectacular fireball meteor I've ever seen. Tracked east-west for about 3 seconds.

Others saw it, too:

BBC News - Meteor fireball spotted in skies over Britain

The BBC says 17:40, but it was actually 17:25 by the car clock. It was an incredible sight, and amazing to think it was seen as far north as Scotland.

No, I didn't see it. :(

I'm lying in hospital with a bandage over both eyes after a triffid stung me. ;)

You know, I'm sure I saw it driving home but I thought nothing of it as it's very early in the Geminids and I assumed that it was probably too early for one like that so thought little of it.
