Have been a fan of dancehall since the turn of the century, but haven't really expanded beyond the usual compilation discs, with the exceptions of beenie man, elephant man etc.

What other artists are there out there? If you haven't listened to dancehall before, it is fantastic, absolutely perfect to work out to, is really uplifting and lively!

Basically it is a cross between dub, reggae and ska.

Kind of like a dance music version of reggae.

Sounds like an awesome combination to me, anything you can recommend GG? :)

Asian Dub Foundation seem like the obvious choice to me but it's not really my "scene".

Sizzla is one of the only artists i think is okay of recent, a few tracks here and there are pretty cool. I prefer the 70s and 80s dancehall scene - Michigan and Smiley, Black Uhuru, Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs too name a few
