Need to replace a faulty charging port (which i can get hold of for a couple of quid)

Looked at a few guides, youtube etc and seems fairly straight forward however id just like to know if anyones done any repairs and how they found it went/ whether its worth the agro of doing it yourself.

    thanks

cant remember if ive done an n80 or not (ive done a lot of different slide nokias) but you will only need to remove the back part to get to the port which will be quite simple. most of the guides about are to change the screen whch means stripping the front section

definately worth trying yourself - find the official nokia service videos on youtube and get yourself the right tools (T6 screwdriver + standard tweezers) and you're away - I recently replaced the ribbon cable, meant taking out the screen, numpad, removing and reattaching the slider, took me about 10 minutes :smashin:
