I wouldn't bother taking the curlers and hair dryer. Just buy them over there. Cheap as chips. A normal adaptor will be fine for the camcorder, it just takes a little longer to charge.

I was there Last Year and didn`t have a problem with chargers etc. Can`t comment on the hair straightners, as I ain`t got no hair :D

But my Daughter tried to buy some GHD`s over there and the Salesman said that you can`t get them over there because of a voltage issue, as GHD`s are only 240 v

If its your first time in Orlando you will Love it :smashin:

    Have a great trip!

    just back from new york

missus had no issues with hair straightners - worked fine plugged into a £2.99 travel plug adapter thingy from boots. (GHD thingys)

    Hair dryer also fine also.

Only complaint was the "water is different here so my hair is more frizzy!!"

Biggest problem I had was keeping the UK plug and adapter in the wall socket!

The US sockets are rubbish. I ended up having to prop it up using a phone book and Gideon's bible just to keep it plugged in LOL

Make sure you check the voltage operating range on any chargers you have. Most have a wide operating voltage range these days (90-250VAC), but some still only specify 230VAC.
