I recently got one for around £275. Auto set-up and other menus are all a doddle. Picture quality is very very good. It can also be used as a pc monitor and has 1280 res. Lots of connectivity options such as computer vga socket, 2 scarts.....all in all I think it's a top notch little widescreen

Hope this helps,

Pete.

Hi mate,

I've just seen this for £199 but don't know whether to go for it. I have two reservations:

1. The sound quality. How does it fair? Is it a bit tinny / lacks bass?

2. During dark scenes is the backlight noticable? For example, most of the TV's I've seen you get a slightly 'faded' band (about an inch) top and bottom of the screen.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You can play with sound settings i.e. Bass etc in the menus, but the tv sounds good to me. I think the backlight is very good and have not noticed anything unusual with it turned fully up. If you can get one for £199 then good for you.....I'd go for it
