Looking for a VGA box for my Dreamcast, but they are beginning to become a rare breed. Came across THIS at Lik-Sang, but can't determine if it has connectors to run audio out to amplifier. Anyone got any idea if this has that facility? Lik-Sang don't seem to answer back!

    Cheers,

The following FAQs are in our database for: VGA Cable (suitable for Dreamcast™)

Does this adaptor allow you to output the Dreamcast's audio to external speakers? (2003-12-20)
Yes, via a 3.5mm socket. You would need a 3.5mm plug to 2 phono jacks and run it into a hi-fi or amp. Alternatively, you could use your PC's speakers (which I assume was the idea.) (2004-01-08)
What kind of audio connection does this product use? rca or jack? (2003-12-31)
It uses a 3.5mm stereo headphone socket. (2004-01-08)
Does it work as good as the sega's official vga box, with full compatibility? (2003-12-28)
This works just as good if not better than the offical sega one and its compatible with all dreamcasts. (2004-01-08)
What about audio output? Does it have RCA stereo plugs or a stereo minijack? (2004-01-12)
It provides a 3.5mm stereo headphone socket. (2004-02-18)
