I find it impossible to see in most kinds of direct daylight (so if you're outside, basically it turns into an iPod shuffle :D ) and also a pain to load compared to other flash players... needs Sonicstage and is also slow. It's also quite a bit heavier than I'd like for a flash player. Apart from that, looks nice and works nice. If I had to have just one I would personally look at the iAudios (the iAudio 5 for example... not as great looking, doesn't last as long on batteries and no OLED but generally works better). The forthcoming iRiver T10 looks interesting too.

The Sony's the slowest loading USB2.0 player I've used, if that helps. I haven't used it in a while... I thought the iRivers were fairly slow in loading, but the Sony takes the biscuit. I like the way it looks and sounds sure, but it's of limited use to me as a 'fill and go in the morning' player since it's so slow.

I bought one for my girlfriend and she loves it. No issues with slow loading, as far as I can remember.
