There is a person at work who loves the aesthetics of plasmas but is unsure about picture quality after seeing the LG and Samsung ones at Dixons. They would like to see some models, preferably Panasonic and Pioneer, that have been setup properly.

Anywhere in N. London would be great, although near to Hampstead would be great. Thanks.

Portables Direct on Scrubbs Lane have a pretty good selection and have very good prices!
Best to phone first to see which ones they have available to demo.

I know it's not North London but Harrods is a good place to see Plasma's. The have most brands / models on display and most have been set up pretty well.

Once you've seen the Panasonic and Pioneers side by side with other screens, you'll opt for one of these.

    All the best,

I recently saw the new Fujitsu P42VCA21 (? 840x480 res), screen at a branch of selfridges and it looked stunning.
It was probably was been set up too bright so reducing life expectancy !, but it made the panasonic and pioneer look extremely dull and slightly colourless in comparison.
If budget is a major concern (re samsung / LG), then I am sure this can be easily picked up for only slightly more. Also I believe fujitsu normally provide 2yrs warranty, but I can not confirm this.
Sevenoaks sell fujitsu and there should be a branch near most people !

    Steve.
P.S. I'm waiting for the Pansonic series 6 and hope to compare against a Fujitsu panel.

i looked at a fujitsu p42vha20 and compared it with a pioneer 503 mxe and i too thought it made the pioneer look washed out and also have a soft picture !!
