My outlaws are looking for a 26" LCD, HD not an issue as they only have Freeview (which they are still getting to grips with). How does it shape up as an everyday TV, not a Home Cinema Diva. I am working on the principal that Sharp make very good displays (better than Philips and Hitachi at this size).

Good or bad all comments welcome.

Good TV but HD Ready, sounds like that would not be a problem for them?

Sharp are releasing a pal version (lower resolution) this summer which should give a much better picture if they are not interested in HD.

I recently purchased the 32'' version of this TV. Can't fault the picture quality at all. I use it with SKY+, Freeview & DVD all via RGB scart. Just keep those sharpness settings down low and everything looks great.

    Hi Scooby.
Yes, sadly. Needed something a little smaller for the room. I am now using a projector to watch most of my DVD's so can get away with a smaller screen for normal TV viewing.
It has, however, gone to a good home. My brother took it off my hands for a mere £400. Both him & his girlfriend love it!
