Thought it might look quite cool at times to have it displaying an aquarium or even log fire. Aquaria DVD seems to get mixed reviews , also came across one called plasmaaquarium that looks the biz. Just wondering if they are a waste of money or not.

If you want to wear your screen out faster. At the price that plasma TV's are at the moment, it's probably cheaper to buy a real fish tank

Well even if i only get half the 60000 hours out of it that panny quote at 8hrs a day it will last more than 10 years. So not really an issue

Looks good but would need a pc feed for it. Would the fading out to sllhouette every few mins be good enough to avoid screen burn ?

Well, if you're going to have it on all day every day, probably not.

But then that's going to apply to any aquarium, whatever the source.

I seem to remember there being one on the Finding Nemo disc.
