    Hello,
    I currenty have a Sony SRT-DG820 receiver and a SS-FCR6000 speaker setup:
    SS-FCR6000 : Speakers : Hi-Fi Component : Sony Asia Pacific
As input I have Sony Music Unlimited(.flac quality?...) & BD movies.

I always thought that the sound was mediocre(at best). Is there a way to improve this setup:
    - replace the cables from the A/V to the speakers (the people who seam to know what they are talking about say that the cables provided with the speakers are Bad)
    - add a subwoofer?
    - any other option?

I am interested in sound quality at low / medium volume, I don't need loud / more power.
    Thank you for your time.

Nevermind, the more I read the more I learn.

Not for now. I will post my next question in the "What Speakers Should I Buy?" sub-forum.
