The Mrs is away this weekend, so that means the boys can play!

I am deperate to try out HD on my Pioneer 434HDE, but what would be the best way to get it in and out? Anyone had any experiences?

There's a VGA port on the front of the box or should I plug my PC's DVI straight into the HDMI port on the back? The VGA would need to be on 'PC' setting, the DVI would be on AV3 (as my DVD is at the moment).

And best resolution to set the PC to for it's output?

Looking to the future when Sky release their HD box (at a sensible price), I'm going to need 2 x HDMI inputs? One for my DVD, one for the SkyHD box. Is there a way round this, a new box from Poineer?

    Cheers,

    Jon

    Hi Jon

Regarding HD testing, use the PC input (VGA) and set the resolution to 1280x720/768.

HDMI switchboxes are available (2 & 4 inputs), but I would wait a while, as the prices are expected to drop.

    A 2 input switchbox is around £200.
