I,ve recently given in to temptation(!) and got new crystal xbox, already having a PS2 and gamecube. Any suggeations or views on RPGs, (being a fan of Square FF series).

    Does anybody own or rate
    LOTR the third age
    XMen Legends

already have star wars KOTR- quite good, but slow progress and not enough power ups!!

    or
    Tales of Symphonia on Gamecube?

PS PC world selling all XBox/ PS2 games at £24.99 this W/E. Seems to a be a regular feature.

Isn't Knights of the Old republic and RPG!? That's supposed to be pretty good and can be picked up 2nd hand for £15 or so.

Tales of Symphonia is pretty good, fast action RPG with really nice graphics.

Prefer playing Baten Kaitos on the GC though as that is absolutely stunning and the battle system is good (unless you prefer more action based RPGs).

Morrowind is a great RPG, but that is also fairly slow really, Fable is supposed to be pretty good.

Lots of people raved about Fable when it came out, but apparantly it is quite short for an RPG, 60 hours iirc, can be picked up cheap in GAME atm, if thats the sort of game that floats your boat.

I'd thoroughly recommend Fable. Haven't played KOTOR yet but am planning to get it as it seems to be highly thought of.

Kotor made Star Wars cool again. If they made a film based on it all the fans would forgive Lucas for the TPM and AOTC.

I assume that means you already have KOTOR, unless there's a simillarly titled game I've missed.

If you haven''t, get it. It's my favourite game of all time, and I'm now waiting for KOTOR 2 to arrive at the door.
