I've got 9 in ceiling LEDs which were working quite happily, until 7 of them decided not to bother turning on as per picture below.

I've tried changing the switches just in case there was a problem with these, but still the same.

While I'm happy to bring a sparky in to fix if needed, I wanted to try and cover some basics first, so any ideas where to start investigating? I'm hoping 7 units haven't blown at the same time.....

Many thanks in advance.

Any idea how many are on one switch? Dimmable? Low voltage? To test take a working one and try it in one that isn't working. Put the non working one in a working one. Fault remains and it is not the lamps (least likely but you should check). There isn't a lighting circuit on a MCB/RCD involved is there? All those lights on the same lighting circuit?

There are 9 units on 2 switches (one either side of the room so all 9 units on or off from either switch). Not dimmable. They are JCC LED7s so wired up in the ceiling.

They are on a lighting circuit with one other light in a cupboard which works fine.

So to start with take a non working one out, then a working one and swap them. Does the fault stay on the same place? If yes the fault is above the lamps and you need to decide how handy you are with electricity.

Ok so pulled 2 units down from the ceiling, the last that worked and the first that didn't.

Loosened off the cable restraint and.....all 3 connections came straight out!
