Any one know of a programmable remote which can learn both IR and RF codes, I have a couple of RF remotes I'd like to macro up with the normal IR stuff.

I know a few mention RF but this only seems to be for using an RF->IR extender to reach other rooms.

Couldn't find the marantz manuals but the pronto pro one has no mention of being able to learn RF remote signals, as I said above it only uses RF to extend it's IR features to another room via a RF->IR Box.

    Apparently its not possible!
    http://www.remotecentral.com/features/premotes.htm
I am SURE AMX/Crestron can do it but thats a lot of money and requires a controller unit!
    A gap in the market!
If you have a LOEWE TV some BOSE RF remotes can work if TV has an RF board fitted!

Some lighting, general power sockets and projector screen. Do they at least do IRDA style signals like the NTL Cable remote (it's a real pain in the arse as most remotes and relays can't pick it up), that would at least be one less IR remote (my collection has it's own seat on the sofa ;) ).

    Just read that page...

No RF or IRDA available... oh well more money I've saved then. :suicide:

Yeah I found the RedEye and a twin IR dimmer light switch, both on order. ;)

Spotted an IR relay box too with 6 relays which would take care of the rest but costs >£300.

EDIT: Hee hee and spoted a kit with 12 relays on a site from another thread for <£100.
