    Hi,

Not sure if this should be in this forum or not but here goes.

I wondered if anyone would have a recommendation for a component cable to connect up a Sharp PJ to an Arcam DVD player for prog scan.

I know it depends on money. I have read that tha Supra one is quite good, and would probs spend around 100 pounds.

    Anyone any thoughts??

    Thanks,

    Dave.

sell very good Comp cable for the money.

Ask for the evolution quality. I have it. Very robust, well shielded with quality inter-connects at either end.

    Hope this helps.

I used to use a Supra AV3 component cable, which was pretty good.

Recently swapped that out for a set of Scorpion Cables component cables and was mightily impressed with the results. Far better colour saturation and definition and more clarity to the image.

The Scorpion Cables really look and feel like you've got your money's worth too. Highly recommended.

I wanted 4m long cables so made my own.
Used some colour coded Van Damme coax from maplin, silver soldered to standard Eichmann bullet plugs from Hi Fi cables

There was a simple but slightly irritating soldering session to complete the cables.

The cost was about £70 and the picture quality is excellent, though I haven't compared them directly with any ready made cables.

Three of these from Farnell would do the trick nicely, and very inexpensive even for 10m cables.......
