Having just bankrupted myself with the purchase of an ex dem Parasound A51 (hopefully arriving this week!) I am looking for a quality processor. Obviously a C2 is the front runner, but I was just wondering that with all the new big (and not so big) integrateds coming out with a digital input for SACD/DVD Audio, are there any processors with this?
This seems to me to be a pretty useful feature.

Oh, and DTS-boy - can't wait to get those A51 watts into 'your' S125s!!

lol, you have gone a bit mad haven'y you?! i think you will be most impressed with your latest purchase! don't know about any processors with that feature just yet, i do know however the C2 has a blank port for such upgrades in the future. PLIIx is a feature rumoured to come quite soon, although i haven't got a 7.1 system to make use if it just yet.

Well you know what it's like - you wouldn't sell me your A52, so I got all sulky, went looking for one, and actually found two at £1199 and an A51 at £1999. And that, as they say, was that!!

:clap:Blimey thats a good price - I know it was an ex magazine review one but give its limited use thats still one stonking bargain :). You better post in the Parasound owners thread in order to be assimilated. Welcome to the club. Some serious power there.

The Parasound C2 is a great match for the A51 or try a Lex MC8 if you can stretch to it. Both work a treat with the A51. A C2/A51 combo looks and sounds great - I have them both as well as an A21 (on order).

    Thanks Rags!
Actually went looking for the A52, but just couldn't resist the 51 at that price. Can't afford a processor now, mind you, but hey I'll just stop drinking for a couple of weeks - should pay for the C2 and some leads!

I think the new Meridian processor comes with Smartlink - not sure if this is compatible with non Merian players though. Cant think of anything else.
