    Hi all

I'm about to visit the US soon, and might try to pick up a bargain or two. I noticed a Denon 2200 for about the same in dollars as pounds. I know 17.5 %import duty would apply but it still works out a lot cheaper. But before I dive in,does any one know if there would be any problems using through a UK TV or projector.

    Many thanks :

    Hi,

I bought a US 2nd gen Tosh DVD player years ago. Things to note:
They do not use scart in America, expect the player to come with S-Video and (hopefully) composite only.
US machine might not be as easy to make multi-region.
You'll need a step down transformer (only cheap but worth factoring in)
Player will probably only output in NTSC anyway (unless you are lucky)
    Potential head ache if faulty.

Hope this is of some help :smashin:
