    ...likely to come out in the near future which can play video clips transfered onto it from a pc?

    There's a load of phones that can do this already.

    Off the top of my head

    SE P910i
    SE K750i
    SE W800i
    Nokia N70

    These all play pretty good videos. The only one I've not seen in action is the P910i, but I will soon enough. Just make sure you convert the video to the proper file name and resolution.

    SO they can play any lenght of video depending on the memory size?

    again with all the xda/spv range!
    all formats any length, many times ive had 3 full movies on my phone at once, and personal clips of family etc

    That is partly true due to none of those phones listed above compatible with mpeg/mpg videos. the sony p910i has the operating system to install a program to play .avi files bt it is only a trial after the 30 days u must pay
