any one tried a line doubler on plasma

    has any one tried a line doubler like the ones you would use on a projector to try to improve the picture quality on tv and sky?:confused:

    Line Doubler's are also called a progressive scan unit- does the same thing. Checkout the Iscan Ultra.

    There is also another phrase that is used here and elsewhere for what you call a line doubler, that is a de-interlacer,and (from what I have read) they do a good job, especially on screens that except both NTSC and PAL progressive scan images.
