Any one had PV500 stock?

Has anyone had any news on any retailers receiving stock of PV500 models? I know some of you have been waiting a lot longer than me!

There are loads of the 37" models knocking about, it's the 42" that are as rare as hens teeth- you should be fine with yours.

Well Panasonic UK have none in stock and neither does any on-line retailer I can find.....might say they do on their site.....but when you call its a different story. If you know of any site with them in stock with the pedestall stand below £2k then i'd be verrrry gratefull.

From what I know the majority of the shops should be getting their 37" PV500's sometime this week, but they'll all probably be down for back orders.

aaah, not sure about online retailers- but I've seen them in various shops -though at about £300 more than you want to spend by the sound of it.

Just spoke to Panasonic UK and the girl on the phone said stock should be coming into the UK begining of next month.....Empire told me middle of October.....getting bored of the ever stretching delivery time.

Anyone waiting on a 42PV500 from JL?? Ive heard they are arriving end of this week, anyone else heard when these babies are supposed to appear??

Just had an e-mail from Panasonic saying they now have stock of the 37" model in so the other retailers shouldn't be too far behind.....might actually manage to get my mits on it in the next week or so hopefully!

Still no word on the 42" PV500's, mixed signals coming in as JL have said mine should arrive end of the week, however Panasonic dont know anything and have even said it could be into Nov before stock arrives , will be well ****** off if thats the case.

is this a game by the big manufacturers to keep prices high - was speaking on sat to uk's biggest pioneer dealer and they get about 3 per month per shop

seems like shortage will stop discounting

anyway having compared hd panels with sd material i'm more than happy to stay with my viera which i think has better pq anyway
