Thinking about swapping back to petrol and been looking at a Mini clubman JCW with the new 8 speed auto. With the options list getting bigger and bigger by the minute doubt very much if I can make the numbers work but just wondered if we have any owners of a works (228bhp) and what real world MPG is like?

Thank you.

Gorgeous mate - absolute beast of an A - B car!!!
Cheers. Yes it's a bit mental  Just looked stunning on the forecourt and they did a pretty good deal so couldn't resist. Book says 0-60 in 4.8 sec but most owners seem to say closer the 4.2 stock. Never owned anything this fast or powerful before. Mrs hasn't seen yet so waiting for the boy racer looks comments :D

Having driven one and been a passenger several time I'd certainly be inclined to believe 4.2 seconds, although the party piece seems to be 30 - 70mph etc!!

Don't worry about the wife! I've just bought a Fiesta ST in Orange :eek: haha you don't get much more boy racer than that!!

How good a deal?

I need shut of my car, want to reduce my expenditure but don't want sacrifice the sub-5.0 performance. Currently paying £650.00 a month if that helps, is it doable?

New or used? Certainty double on a PCP deal.
