Considering selling my base unit next month hopefully at work or in small adds in paper (or possibly here if not?) but I haven't a foggiest what to ask for for this configuration - want to sell it reasonbly quickly so don't want to ask too high or too low. Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Abit KT7 motherboard
    Athlon 1.3 processor
    2 * 256 MB Crucial 133 CAS2 RAM
    45Gig IBM Desktar 75GXP
64MB Creative Labs Graphics Card (edit . Geforce 3 TI200)
    SBLive Value
Case (bit tatty) with 350W HEC AMD approved power supply

    No Operating System.

I was thinking around 100 pounds - is this too much or too little ?

    Thanks, Mark.

£100 sounds like a bargain, put it in at 150 at least to allow for knocking down. Make sure you get the model of the graphics card is it a Geforce 2 MX?

I would say £100-150 is ok'ish without a monitor. As a games machine it might struggle a bit with to-days specs but for general use it's ok.
The problem you might have is the market that would want a base unit? Someone with a current pc who's already got the monitor and op system might be looking for a higher spec machine? Just a thought.

Thanks for the advice - you're right as a complete PC it would be better - perhaps I should sell it for the same price including one of my "spare" 14 inch monitors out of the loft - OK not cutting edge but work OK.

Thats what i would do then. Something's better than nothing and what are you going to do with an old monitoer anyway?
Have you a college or Uni near you? Their a good source for customers at this time of year with term just starting. :)
    Good Luck.
