I'm selling my Panasonic TX36-PF10 (36" CRT) locally but have no idea what price to put it up for.

Any ideas how much I can expect to get for it?

I'm replacing it with a Toshiba WH36 RPTV.

    cheers

    :)

    Dr. Dog:- "Ten quid" :)

Seriously, £1600 new, so I would say half of that. So that's £300. :p

    That's just silly ... Nathan ;-)

Seriously tho... only 300 quid ?

You seen one of these WH36's yet then matey? .... being the RPTV guru of the forum as you are.

I'm searching out a demo at the mo.

Kind of changing everything video-wise at the moment.... going for (at the moment!):

    Bedroom - either a Panasonic PD30 or Tosh PF2 (32)
    Lounge - Tosh WH36 (42)
Study - Panasonic PTAE300 projector (or maybe the AE200) and some sort of screen.

with about a 3.5k budget...... about what a plasma would cost me ;-)

any other/better suggestions for the money?

My maths was off. :) I would say £800.

Buying quite a bit of stuff there. Be careful with the bedroom TV - think quite a few of people are unhappy with Panny and Toshiba TV's. It seems normal TV Quality control has dropped to point where everything is faulty :( That's why I bought a RP- they have more advanced geometry adjustment (if you're willing to go into convergence service menu)

Oh the 51" Toshiba RP is only slightly more than the 42"- can you get away with it?

    Nice one.

Not sure if I can fit a 51" in (I'll measure when I get in from work).

Won't the 42 have a better picture due to it's smaller screen with same amount of pixels etc ?

I know this rule applies to CRT's .... not sure about RPTV's tho.
