Does anyone know if there's a dvd or hdd recorder that will finalise dvd-r's as ntsc from a Pal input signal (vhs tapes)? I Know some pioneer, and panasonic models will finalise discs recorded from an original pure ntsc or pal60 input signal.

Only, as someone else in the forum was saying, if your looking to get into dvd-r trading, ntsc seems to be a lot more common globally.

It sounds like you are refrring to swapping copyright material, which is, of course illegal.

You of course cannot "finalise" a PAL recorded DVD as NTSC. The recorded DVD is whatever the source material is - unless something converts it on the way. Finalisation has nothing to do with what format the video is in.

You need to look into something that will convert PAL to NTSC.
