    NEC LT 260 are these any good or should i wait and buy crt

    any advice would be greatly appreciated

    how much are they worth

    They seem pretty good by all acounts, but for the same money, you can get a good used CRT and that will give you a better picture.

    Only drawbacks are size and setting up (converging etc).

    The NEC pjs are DLP and can generate rainbow artefacts which a few people see. Many don't but unless you demo, you won't know for sure.

    Digital pjs are dead easy to setup and use - they don't need converging and don't weigh very much much, so can be positioned on ceilings easier and will give a converged image immediately. They're almost plug and play.

    That's a very basic opinion, so I hope that helps a little. :)
