Are universal remotes actually any good? Whenever i've seen my friends with them they still have the origanal remotes to hand because there is always a button or function that the universal doesn't have? Instead of say five remotes they now have SIX! Surely this defeats the point of having one? Don't get me wrong i like the idea but have never seen it working properly. I have the usual stuff tv,av,dvd.dvd recorder etc and would love to do away with the fumbling in the dark for the right remote. Convience me otherwise with a remote around the £100-£200 mark????

Try a Pronto - totally customisable (if that's a real word!)
Look here www.remotecentral.com for some great ideas....
