Lots of 26"/32" Freeview LCD TVs seem to have audio inputs for games consoles etc but what about keeping audio in digital form for feeding out into an A/V surround system ?

Any help greatly appreciated but would like to consider mass market models rather than esoteric ones! :lease:

sharp 32GD7E has digital audio out. not sure if it can output the freeview sound in digital form. got nothing to test it with.

edit: it's coaxial (RCA plug), not optical.

Many thanks for replies. I have now changed my Netgem Freeview box for the Topfield so that I can use digital output when watching Freeview TV or recordings. The need for digital output on a new Freeview LCD TV therefore a luxury rather than necessity but could be decider when I take the plunge on a new LCD TV.
