I'm about to upgrade my sky digital box for a sky plus box, but I'm getting frustrated that they are the same price everywhere!
    Is this allowed??
Does anyone know of anywhere that I can buy one cheaper or at least with something 'thrown in'?????

They are some differences in prices mainly between independent satellite retailers who are willing to shave a few pounds off the purchase price if you paying them for other services.
A few High street stores also offer cut price SKY+'s when you spend over a certain amount on another product.

According to the SKY+ R&D team it is being sold slightly below cost so there isn't the £50 profit margin (for example) there for retailers to price aggressively againest their rivals.
