Any digital box with component output?

Does anyone know of any digital boxes with a component output? I am going to purchase a Plasma screen and want to hook up a digital tv box for maximum quality. Does anyone know of such a box, or do you think I would be better using a top notch very high quality scart cable instead?

there is one called the netgem iplayer that does component over scart.

so you would need a rgb scart to 3 component cable

Thanks, jmak. In that case, as I currently own a Pace Twin, do you think I would get a better picture if i just purchase an RGB scart to 3 component cable, and stick with this box? Would this be a better pic than just using the scart?

does the pace twin output component over scart?

think it can depend on what plasma you are using?

and if a scaler is needed

Oh dear you are between a rock and a hard place.

The Twin is a FANTASTIC piece of kit but the Netgem IPlayer does component.

This comes down to a number of things.

Do you want to mess about swapping between to DTTV devices for watching live or recorded, or even drop to a video recorder.

My advise is get a Plasma with excellent RGB handing or a top quality RGB to Component adaptor.

Or try to convert the Twin to component:confused:

Anything but a Twin I'd say I Player but Twin messes this up!
