Any difference between SP-50L7HXR and SP-50L7HX

    Other than the HXR having Russian language is there any other significant difference between the two? Asked Samsung here in Moscow but got now answer :(

    I very much doubt it. You might have some regional differences as you state, Default Language, case markings (where the inputs are) etc and perhaps on the connection front.

    For example in the USA the SP46L3HX is called the HLP4663 yet the US model has both DVI and HDMI inputs whereas the European model just has HDMI in terms of Digital Connectivity.

    Also the SP46 is known as the full model designation of SP46L3HXX/XEC but usually abbreviated to SP46L3HX, so you may find you are just seeing the other X in your case HXR!

    Cheers. I am going to go and see one in action at the Samsung Gallery on Tverskaya (near the Kremlin)... better take some roubles with me :)
