Is anyone familiar with the B&W FPM series wall-maounted speakers? If so, how would you rate them for sound quality for general home cinema / music use?

Any comments on alternative wall mounted speakers would be appreciated.

Rest of system will Pioneer PDP434HDE screen, Pioneer DV868i DVD player, Sky+ and Pioneer VSX-AX5i receiver (haven't actually purchased the latter yet - still considering options - have been using Cyrus kit and Wilson Benesch speakers but they are being reallocated to a separate system).

Superb. They look great and sound awesome. Make sure you choose a good enough subwoofer and you will have an amazing system.

Thanks - with that recommendation I'll try and get a dealer to arrange a demo.

I live in Milton Keynes. We are not particularly well served for specialists shops here, so most of my kit came from Audio-T in Oxford, although my Pioneer PDP434HDE plasma screen and Pioneer DV868Ai DVD player came from Sevenoaks in Bedford. Audio-T were the ones who pointed me towards the B&W speakers, but it's a time consuming exercise to get across to them, so I wanted to check other opinions before trying to get an audition arranged.

Nope - I had been thinking about the Kef 5005 or 9000 series, but dealer recommended the FPM in preference to either. Dealer claims to have done a number of very successful installations usign FPM4, but I haven't managed to find any reviews anywhere.
