The internet based mail order division of "Leading Edge Concepts" is selling a Denon AVC-11SR for £1400. I am seriuosly considering this, but does anyone know how reiable they are.

Not used them myself, but they dont appear to have any bad press that I´m aware of.

Good price for the Denon though.

There have been a few posts about them. They have a shop in the Metro Centre and whilst the posts say that they are not very good answering email queries they respond to the telephone well enough.

Some of the stuff that they sell is imported from Europe as they sell silver Yamaha amps that are not available in UK

I guess you could say that the best test is when something goes wrong...
I bought a Sony NS900V from LE Concepts, despite the fact I was a bit concerned about not being able to take it back to the shop (I live in the South) if something went wrong. Well, it did go wrong, but LEC were as good as you could hope for - they didn't ask me to send it back, but sent me a new machine and picked up the old one at the same time.
I think you can buy with confidence.

Thanks for the info. I asked about the warranty and if its an import. I was told its a uk machine and i get a 2 year manufacturers warranty. I cant really argue at that price!!
