Since moving recently to BT Infinity for my broadband I have had considerable problems with using Smart Hub 6 in conjunction with Time Capsule in respect to wifi. As I usually do, I have disabled the wifi on the Hub and use the Time Capsule wifi instead. However since the new Hub 6 the wifi reception has been very poor. Using devices located upstairs is a nightmare as the wifi signal is very poor and disconnects often. This happens on mobile devices as well as the Mac Mini in my son's room. Furthermore even the PS4 which is located next to the TC struggles to connect to the internet. Never had this happen before.
I have since switched on the wifi on the Hub 6 and am accessing internet through that and there's no problems at all.
Which leads me to ask the question: Is there any benefits to me keeping the TC any more? Does TC give me anything that the Smart Hub doesnt? By the way, I do not use TC for doing backups of my computer. I also dont do any file sharing between my devices.
