As per title, any bargains on DVD recorders in the sales? Especially DVD-RAM units?
Dunno if its a bargain as such but Comet had the Panny e85 for £400 region 2 in town today which rather surprised me! I thought these were meant to be around £600?
The Panasonic E85 seems to have a widespread cost of £399 now, and the E55 around £200. Some places had these prices pre-Xmas , so Comet & Curry's are probably climbing on the bandwagon. It will be interesting to see if the places that were selling at £399 now lower their prices to beat Comet etc. I'm looking to get an E85 region 1-6 etc but have a budget of £350.
Went in to local town earlier today and was not totally surprised to find one small family electrical retailers (shop ) selling the e85 at full whack at around £499.00. Although having said that they probably WOULD have price matched it.
Try rgbdirect.co.uk & soundandvisiononline.com. I bought a Sony RDR HX900
for £525 from RGB just before xmas. Both the above online shops are selling
it for £498 inc. delivery now, a bargain indeed. Also other models will probably
be the best around. Avoid the high street shops, they are no where near as
Came across the DMR-E85 on currys website (Web Exclusive) £364.62
plus postage if thats of interest.
dmr-e65 for £229.99 at sound&vision in bolton. Had to haggle a little though, but they were pricematching "grey" ones from richersounds
Panasonic e85 multi-region £369 RGB Direct(inc p&p)
£349.95 region2 Richer Sounds,instore only.I have used Richer
Sounds but not RGB Direct in the past.
currently £169.99 at larger boots the chemists , i bought one today. after returning my faulty 6 month old one to another "unnamed" store and getting a refund on my £250
think it was aline they tried for xmas at £199, but it obviously failed, now reduced to £169.99 , and if you ahve a boots reward card you gte about £3 back on that
I bought one yesterday too!
It was still priced up at £199, but after enquiries, they price checked it and the lower price came up!
Was in JL High Wycombe yesterday and noticed E85 at £399 and E55 was £159 (may have been £169 but not certain!).
These weren't flagged up as sale prices so may be official prices given annnouncemnet of new machines?
I think the E85 is a great deal at this price. JL gives 2 year warranty on it.
Anyone able to confirm this?
I deserved that
