Can any one tell what this films is:

I saw it about 10 to 15 years ago.
Its set in the future and what I can remember of it was these black buggies, tanks and motor bikes driving through a waste land/desert with coloured smoke coming out of the back. (Like the red arrows have).

I believe also some of these bikes, kind of jumped out of the back of a large aircraft.

It may have been a really doggy film, but its bugged me for years not being able to find out what it was.

I keep thinking it had a title Like Delta Force, but it is definatly not Delta Force.

    Cheers

Just to makes things a little clearer, a lot of the film suggestion have Tanks and buggies etc that are very much like Max Max.
I that I mean very rustic, if I can use that word.

The film I am thinking of and hopefully Deansimm as well , the buggies etc are very military-esque and not very rustic.

I'd go with delta force too.

Its Barry Bostwick as opposed to Kris Kristofferson I believe.
Seem to remember the bikes can fly at the end... priming up for some terrible cheesy bad vfx work and the doors of a big cargo plane.

Struck me as strangely Italian in origin ( so many are!).

Actually just checked on IMDB and its called Mega Force.

Honestly fellas I'm one of the biggest cheese bandits going but Mega Force mings to high heaven.

I remember seeing it as a kid ( the only time) and even then I'm pretty sure I was left feeling nauseus by the sheer crapolaness of it all.

If you go the other way, verbally speaking, from "Delta Force" you could get to "Delta And The Bannermen" which was a Dr Who story involving buggies....

I remember that Dr Who, with the buggies - same as those 3-wheeler jobs used in the James Bond film - 'Diamonds Are Forever'.
