I have been told that with using satelite speakers(Keff) there will be no need for 2 centre rear, I will have a ax-10 so I know it is better with 2 center rears with THX, but not sure with small speakers in a small room,
Can I have your,e opinion please to help decide to buy an extra one (if i can, is there anywhere that I can buy only 1 egg?),
    Thank you ,Phill

    Hi Phil

I´ve got two surround backs in my setup, placed as close together as possible, and (to me) it sounds better than a single speaker. The difference is not huge though, but gives better clarity and detail at the back. If the AX10 is anything like my Denon, then you won´t be able to select THX Ultra 2 modes if you only have one speaker as surround back selected in the setup.

Not sure where you´d get a single Kef egg to try it out. Would the dealer you´re buying the kit from lend you one?
