Now that the evenings are lighter, I find it harder to get the room sufficiently dark to watch films with my Sanyo plv 30. My first thought was to put blackout blinds over the windows. Now, a blackout blind is not so very different from a screen, so I have two questions:

    - is there any reason why I shouldn't have a manual pull-down screen which is itself used to block out the light ?

    - is it possible to get a decent screen which could be used in this way measuring 8'6" by 6' and, if so, where ?

I'd be very grateful for any help.

    Thanks

    Rupert

Pretty sure that most manual screen manufacturers can provide, for extra cost, black out backs to their screens.
