Please advise on the best way to connect my Sony Bravia KDL-V32A12U TV with my Sony RDR-HDX910 DVD/HDD Recorder and my Sky Digibox [TU-DSB40].

The TV has the following sockets: 3x Scart, HDMI, component, audio and RF.

The DVD/HDD Recorder has 2x Scart [LINE 1-TV, and LINE 3], HDMI OUT, Component video Out, S VIDEO In and Out, R-AUDIO-L/VIDEO In and Out, and RF Aerial In/out.

The Sky Box has TV Scart, VCR Scart, Dish Input, Aerial Input, and 2xRF Outputs.

I have an HDMI cable and two scart cables, plus several RF cables. Should I use a component cable?:lease:

i would use a component cable for the video out of the dvd/hdd to your tv, along with either an optical or digital coax for the audio. or hdmi if your dvd/hdd has an output for this.
use a decent quality scart for the sky, and make sure the sky box is set to rgb out in the picture settings.
    hope this helps
