hey y'all.....just got my sony kep42m1s set up...connected the dvd with a gold scart and it looks superb...used a normal scart for the sky and it leaves a little to be desired especially when watching footie...the grass looks computer generated and the faces are a little blurry....if i shell out another wedge for a gold scart lead will this solve the problem? dont tittter if there is a better solution, remember i am a technophobe....cheers. :clown:

Decent leads always make a difference. I've always favored Ixos ones myself, but others may differ. Ensure the plug bit is metal for max shielding. There is a cable section in this forum too.

A good cable will make a diff but football viewing is a major problem on all plasm/lcd. No matter wot you try it will still look pretty rough.

Monster cable make some decent cable, have loadsa patents to their technology, all scarts have 100% mylar foil sheild and copper braid on some....may deliver a better picture.
