getting a golden shovel:

buy two silver shovels from tom nooks and then put one in your hand. after that go out side and bury the other shovel somewere that you can remember then change the time to the next day. when you wake up go and dig it up and u will have a golden shovel!!

BTW shoot down a golden balloon gift to get the golden catapault which fires 3 shots at once in a wide shotgun type arc for better accuracy.
