    From r2-dvd.org:

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment have announced "Angel Season 3" for release 3rd March priced at £79.99. The disk is presented 1.78:1 anamorphic and DD 5.1 sound.

DD 5.1??! I hope this is true!

I was so surprised by the season 2 picture quality which imho looked very filmic and certainly the best tv dvd transfer I have seen. Now all we need is 5.1 sound, and it looks like we might get it! Still, this info is from a press release, so I''m not holding my breath.

Ahhh I've been waiting for this season for a while now :). Here in Norway it doesn't go on the telly, so its VHS or DVD. Loved season 2, hope this one is even better.

BTW, Andy over at r2-dvd.org made a mistake - it will be released 16:9 but with DD 2.0 surround sound:(

Stargate is the only TV show (except the big budget HBO stuff) that has been doing 5.1 for years. And it sounds so bloody good.

    So no 5.1 then? :(

Oh well...this series was brilliant anyway so I'm still gonna get it. 5.1 would have been nice but its not essential - at least its in widescreen! :)

Got my order for £27.99 due to a mistake by a website, why they apologised to me when they said they would honour the purchase is a mystery to me
