Urgh, no... one of the worst ideas ever thought of.

If you find an Android phone, just hold it in sunlight and look at the finger-print pattern left on the screen to work out how to get in.

Have to say I quite like it. Used to have something similar on my old touch Diamond.

Yes but people can't magically use a touch screen phone without... touching it. So even if you look at the smudgy screen in the sun, you'll just see smudges in all directions.

Plus with anti smudge protectors (what i have), you can't see any finger prints on the screen whatsoever.

Nice find phairplay, might install it myself.

If you are unlucky enough to forget the code here is how you disable it

if you forget your lock pattern you can ssh into you iPhone's root file system and into the root go into library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries and change AndroidLock.dylib to AndroidLock.disabled

Also log in via ssh to your iPhone and type:

rm /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/com.zmaster.AndroidLock.plist
killall SpringBoard

to completely reset the lock pattern

Look at your iPhone screen and you'll see a load of finger prints, swipe marks and other such prints where you have poked and prodded.

Look at an Android screen and you'll see the same, but with an extremely distinctive line/pattern over the screen which makes it very easy to see what the unlock pattern is.

The only way to avoid it is to either clean your screen after using it every time, or never clean it.

I don't want an Android phone.
This doesn't replace the entire OS ;)

Having tried this out, it's no good for me. The standard lock allows you to set a time for when you don't have to enter the code (I have mine set on one hour). This lock doesn't allow that so you have to use it every time you unlock the phone.

Same as the real Android lock then, at least it's authentic!
