Looking to move to EE or maybe O2 but need WiFi calling & my current S5 Neo doesn't have it. The Neo does all I need from a phone so no incentive to spend hundreds going up the S ladder, especially when the S6 is such dog & knackered S7s are still commanding high prices. So an EE/O2 phone roughly equivalent to the Neo would probably be ideal.

SD card a must & a replaceable battery a bonus.

    Location: Colchester

If you are happy with your current phone might I suggest downloading and flashing the EE version of the firmware on it(provided it's unlocked of course)?

It's an O2 phone that's been unlocked. Not sure I'm brave enough to risk bricking it with a firmware it wasn't meant to run. Would flashing it with EE firmware then relock it to EE?

Nah the phone would remain unlocked, provided there is no difference in the phone's hardware (check model number) it will just change the default apps. Personally done it plenty of times on various samsung phones.

All you would need is Odin and relevant PC drivers.

Took a brave pill & flashed the EE firmware onto the Neo & still no WiFi calling options in the menu. :(

    So the hunt continues.

Sorry @Van Dam , notification failure.

Looks like the flashing may have worked after all so I'll archive for now.
